On June, 21, 2016 a meeting of Technical Committee on Standardization TC 182 “Additive Technologies” was held at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

A report on work performed by TC 182 for the first half of 2016 was presented in the course of the meeting. Besides, chairmen of the subcommittees reported about the work progress on the program of national standards and the development plans of the subcommittees. As well as the participants of the committee have got approval for the first draft standard “Additive technological processes. Fundamental principles – part 1. Terms and definitions”.

The Technical committee №182 “Additive technologies” was established by an order of Rosstandart № 1013 of 1 September, 2015. A secretariat of TC was formed at the basis of VIAM. Cand. of Sc.(Tech.) Olga G. Ospennikova, Head of scientific-research bureau of VIAM «Heat-resistant cast and wrought alloys and steels, protective coatings for GTE components» and Aleksey V. Dub, the first deputy Director General of JSC “Science and innovations” are co-chairmen of the Technical committee.
