The All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) took part in the IV International Forum of technological development “Technoprom”, which was held in Novosibirsk on June 9-10, 2016.

Meetings and discussions on strategies of innovative and industrial development of Russia, modern technologies and prospects of military industrial complexes was held in the territory of the largest in Siberia International Exhibition Complex “Expo Centre”. The central theme of “Technoprom” was the Russia`s role in the development of the Arctic Regions.

One of the key events of the Forum was an exposition, where specialists from more than 20 scientific institutions and high technological companies presented the newest developments in the field of medicine, photonics, metal forming, additive and biotechnologies.

In particular, visitors could get acquainted with materials samples (laminate aluminum plastic, high-temperature fiberglass, heat and cold-resistant rubber) on the stand of VIAM, intended to production of structural components of transport vehicles, operated under the conditions of Extreme North and in a zone of manmade disasters. Parts for GTE, produced by the method of selective laser melting, took the special place on exposition.
