From 30 May to 3 June 2016, representatives of large domestic enterprises have completed training at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

Specialists of Kazan Aviation Factory named after S.P. Gorbunov – branch of PJSC Tupolev, OJSC “IL”, JSC “Gas-turbine engineering research and production center “Salut”, JSC “Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise” (JSC “KumAPP”) underwent a training on the program “Modern metal materials and innovative technologies of their processing” at VIAM. They were listeners of professional development program of MAI, implemented within the framework of departmental special-purpose program “Advanced training of engineer-technical personnel in 2015-2016”.

 Metal materials for different purpose, technological processes of their production, processing and reprocessing were considered in the process of training.

It should be noted, that specialists of OJSC “Concern Sea Underwater Weapons – Gidropribor” also completed personnel refresher training on the program “Application of thermal analysis to research the properties of materials”.

During the training, special attention was paid to practical skills in using thermoanalytical tools. In addition, experimental researches of samples properties were carried out and the method of results processing with the use of modern software were studied.
