On May 23-27, 2016 representatives of leading enterprises of aviation industry took training in “Nonmetallic composite materials of new generation” at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

Specialists of OJSC “IL”, JSC “Aerocomposite”, Kazan Aviation Factory named after S.P. Gorbunov – branch of PJSC “Tupolev”, JSC “Sukhoi Civil Aircraft”, LLC “Small Innovative Company “Modern means of authorization“ underwent a training within the framework of departmental special-purpose program “Advanced training of engineering personnel in 2016”. Besides, employees of JSC “Scientific and production Association of Automatics” also trained at VIAM.

In the course of the training, issues on development and research of nonmetallic composite materials of different purposes and technological process of their processing were considered.  Of particular interest for engineers was visit of scientific-research bureaus of the institute and pilot productions, where they were demonstrated the work of modern technological and testing equipment.

On the last day of the course the specialists were awarded with certificates of successful passing the training. They expressed special gratitude to leadership of VIAM for high level of organization of practical training, noted that obtained knowledge would help them by solving different production tasks.
