On May 26, 2016 a delegation of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) headed by Director General of VIAM, Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov visited China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group (CISRI).

Representatives of CISRI told the guest about the history of establishment and development of the company and presented exhibition of the institute`s achievements, including the field of powder metallurgy.

In the course of the negotiations, Evgeny Kablov informed the Chinese colleagues on VIAM`s developments in the field of additive technologies, heat-resistant alloys, intermetallic materials and heat-protective coatings. In turn, the employees of China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group highly appreciated the developments of VIAM. According to the results of the meeting the parties came to an arrangement on mutually cooperation.

It should be noted, that China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group is a state-owned enterprise and a leading provider of advanced materials as follows: functional, powder metallurgical, refractory, structural materials and heat-resistant alloys.
