On May 19, 2016 a signing ceremony of work program, carried out by the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) within the framework of interaction conception with JSC “United Engine Corporation” was held.

Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM and Alexander V. Artyuhov, Director General of UEC signed the document.

It should be noted, that the program determines the priority areas of cooperation. In particular, the program includes the following areas: development of non-metallic materials of engine nacelle, general special qualification of PCM, as well as researches of climatic resistance of materials of engine unit PD-14. Besides, investment casting process of aviation GTE blades from heat-resistant nickel alloys will be developed.  

VIAM is going to take part in technical re-equipment of UEC`s enterprises as well as to provide training for specialists of holding company in special programs.
