On April 20, 2016 Valery Fadeev, Editor in chief of the magazine “Expert”, Director General of CJSC “Media holding “Expert” became a guest of a creative project “Synkletos at VIAM”.

Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM introduced the guest of the Synkletos and pointed out, that “Today we are meeting with the interesting person, famous journalist, public figure, who defends the interest of our country, domestic science and industry and he makes efforts to restore the economic potential of the Russian Federation”.

The central theme of the Synkletos became Russian economy, its problems and ways of their solution.

Valery Fadeev pointed out that headed by him magazine “Expert” was unsympathetic to existing economic policy in our country. “Government officials often comment on the need to implement economic and structural reforms. But, unfortunately, I have been unable to find the definition of these mysterious structural reforms”, - he said.

According to Valery Fadeev, one of the most important issues was cruel monetary policy, in particular, a proposal of sharp monetary contraction. “Intention to strangle by means of inflation has led to freezing the growth of GDP.  If money is turning into investments, it minimally influences on inflation”, - he pointed out.

Valery Fadeev pointed out that for the development of domestic economy was very important to move away from patterns, many of which were incorrect and to determine the really important benchmarks. According to him, it was necessary to discuss the real economy and not to estimate the importance of “mysterious notions” about it in order to develop domestic economy. 

Valery Fadeev pointed out, that reduction of interest rate on mortgage loan was the sharpest problem, which required to be solved. The ultimate cost of mortgage accommodation was almost 5 times higher than it could be.  “The cost of accommodation increases by 2 times at the annual rate of 12 per cent, if the annual rate is 13 per cent, the cost of accommodation increases by 3 times.  The prices of land, infrastructure, profits of developer-builder and interest rate are included into basic cost”.

Answering the questions Valery Fadeev pointed out, that if the state, business and society were interested in innovations, they would be developed. The absence of appropriate conditions would only lead to the degradation of economy as a whole. Especially, he pointed out, that it was necessary to produce a wide range of goods. “I think, that big country should produce everything, you cannot focus only on certain areas”, - the guest of Synkletos declared.   It is necessary to be fully engaged in developing something, to build technological chains, as it is done in the leading countries of the world”, - Valery Fadeev concluded.

At the end of the meeting Evgeny Kablov presented to the guest a book “Admiral Fyodor Ushakov – holy righteous warrior”, which had been published with the support of VIAM, as well as he thanked Valery Fadeev for his interesting and informative report.
