On April 12-15, 2016 representatives of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) took part in the XLII International Youth Scientific Conference “Gagarin Readings”. The meeting was held at the Moscow Aviation Institute, dedicated to the 55-th anniversary of the flight of Yuri Gagarin into space.

In the course of the conference, Evgeny Valevin, Anna Gunyaeva, Anton Evdokimov, Alexander Ilichev, Artem Kurnosov, Aleksey Kucherevskij and Ivan Korotkov made reports.

It is remarkably, that Anna Gunyaeva was awarded with the first place diploma for a report titled “Production of PCM with lightning-protective coatings by using method of vacuum infusion”. The employees of VIAM also were awarded for practical significance of their work, prospects of performed researches and active participation in the conference. 

Students, postgraduates, young scientists of scientific-research institutes and representatives of industry enterprises gather together at “Gagarin Readings in order to discuss the recent trends in aerospace field.
