On February, 18, 2016 a solemn awards ceremony for laureates of the All-Russian contest “Engineer of the year – 2015 was held at the Russian union of scientific and engineering non-governmental organization (RosSNIO). Employees of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) were traditionally among the winners of the contest.

The jury appreciated works of the young specialists of VIAM.

In particular, Oleg Sorokin was awarded the title of laureate according to “Professional engineers” and Michael Gorbovets, Anna Lukina, Valentina Denisova, Pavel Matveev and Alexander Skugorev became the laureates of the contest according to “Engineering of young people”.

All winners were presented with appropriate diplomas, certificates and silver signs “Professional engineers of Russia” and commemorative medals “Winners of the contest”.
