On February, 11, 2016 within the framework of a visit to the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials, Academician of RAS Sergey Yu. Glazyev, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation on regional economic integration became a guest of a creative project “Synkletos at VIAM”.

“Sergey Glazyev is the famous scientist, Academician, statesman”, - Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM pointed out. “We know his position, which he has never changed: it is a position of a true patriot, who always defends our state. Today there are few people, who have preserved their ideals in different conditions.”

In his report, Sergey Glazyev spoke about the economic situation in our country, reasons of the crisis, urgent measurements to strengthen economic security in Russia. In particular, he emphasized the importance to introduce restrictions on speculative capital movements; he told about stabilization efforts of the Russian exchange rate, privatization of state-owned companies, he compares interest policy in a number of countries in the world and informed about foreign capital shares in branches of Russian industry. “We propose to introduce a concept of “national company”, and only such companies should be entitled to obtain credits from the state, to have access to State Defense Order, to maintenance of infrastructure”, - Sergey Glazyev declared.

He also emphasized the importance of works, carried out by VIAM in the interests of domestic industry. “You successfully develop new technologies; the President knows your institute. Success of VIAM is confidence in the future of the country”, - Sergey Glazyev pointed out.

According to him, VIAM is a good example to demonstrate successful innovative work for good of the country, the guarantees of which are stability and coherence of work of employees, clear and understandable management model.

In the course of the Synkletos, the guest presented his new book “The last world war. USA begins and loses” and then gave it to Director General of the institute. In turn, Evgeny Kablov presented a book “Admiral Fyodor Ushakov is the holy righteous warrior”, which had been published with the support of VIAM. “I take my hat off to Fyodor Ushakov, in due time I participated in unveiling of a memorial to him on the island of Corfu”, - Sergey Glazyev pointed out. He also expressed his gratitude to the employees of the institute for interesting questions and wished the team of VIAM further success and prosperity.

It should be noted, that Sergey Glazyev got acquainted with scientific and production base of the institute within the framework of the visit to VIAM.
