On February, 9, 2016 representatives of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) Alexander G. Evgenov, Head of laboratory, Gennady A. Morozov, Deputy head of quality control department  and Vladimir A. Korolev, Senior engineer took part in a workshop on certification of additive manufacturing, organized by EOS GmbH.

In the course of the meeting, issues of using additive technologies to manufacture parts of aviation and space engineering as well as application of domestic materials in units of additive manufacturing of EOS GmbH were considered. Besides, the participants discussed activity of the technical committee №182 “Additive technologies”, established on the base of VIAM.

Specialists of JSC “UEC”, OJSC “NPO Saturn”, OJSC “Aviadvigatel”, FSUE “CIAM”, FSUE “TsAGI”, JSC “Russian Helicopters”, PJSC “UAC” also took part in the workshop.
