On the eve of the day of Russian Science, employees of the Ulyanovsk research and technology center (USTC), the branch of All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) were rewarded by Sergey I. Morozov, the governor of Ulyanovsk Oblast.

In accordance with an order of the Head of the region dated 2 February 2016 the representatives of the center were awarded “for merits in the field of science and technologies, achievements in scientific and technological as well as innovative activities, high professionalism and effective work in the territory of Ulyanovsk Oblast”.

In particular, Evgeny A. Veshkin, Head of sector of USTC was awarded an honorary certificate and Ruslan A. Satdinov, processing engineer of the 2^nd category was marked by a letter of thanks.

 The awarding ceremony was held on 8 February.
