According to the results of the Webometric ranking for 2015, the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) has included into 50 of the best Russian scientific organizations in the field of “Scientific organizations and centers” (Ranking Web of Research Centers).

In comparison with the last year, VIAM has strengthened its positions in the ranking and has risen from 46 to 40 places among Russian scientific organizations. In the global ranking of the best scientific organizations, which amounted over 8000, VIAM has occupied the 1094^th place (VIAM was in 1434 position last year).  

It should be remembered, that the ranking is one of the most authoritative in the world and it is carried out by the Cybermetrics. A special algorithm for website ranking has been developed.

It is remarkable, that only 22 organizations from 43 state scientific centers of Russian Federation have included into the rating.
