On January, 25, 2016 Aleksey G. Komissarov, Director of the Fund for development of industry visited the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

In the course of the visit, he got acquainted with the main directions of the activities of VIAM, scientific research and manufacturing complexes, laboratories, high-technology low-tonnage production. 

Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM told Aleksey Komissarov about the latest achievements of the institute in the field of materials science, performed work on import substitution of foreign materials for domestic analogues, and also development of materials and technologies of new generation for different branches of Russian industry.

Director of the Fund for development of industry highly appreciated scientific-technical equipment of VIAM and its production potential. According to Aleksey Komissarov, modern technological base is efficiently used to provide our country with necessary modern materials and technologies.

The Fund for development of industry was founded in order to modernize Russian industry, to establish new production facilities and to provide import substitution. The Fund was established on the initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of RF by means of transformation of the Russian Fund of technological development.

The Fund for development of industry offers preferential terms of cofinancing of projects, designed to development of new high-technology production, technical re-equipment and establishment of competitiveness production facilities based on the best available technologies.

 The Fund provides special loans at a rate of 5% per annum up to 7 years in volume from 50 up to 700 mln. rubles on a competitive basis, encouraging direct investment into real sector of economy  to implement industrial and technological projects.
