On December, 7, 2015 a meeting of the working group of the Scientific and Coordination Council on the implementation of the subprogram “Production development of composite materials and articles from them”, which is carried out within the framework of the state program “Industrial development and improving its competitiveness” took place in the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

 Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM held the event, which was devoted to the forthcoming meeting chaired by Denis V. Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

It should be noted, that the subprogram “Production development of composite materials and products from them” was prepared by Minpromtorg of Russia jointly with VIAM, the Union of composites manufacturers, the Industrial Department for production of composite materials of Federal Interindustrial Council of the All-Russia Public Organization “Business Russia” and other organizations. The subprogram includes the implementation of three main measures aimed at forming base to create and develop modern industrial field of composite materials (CM), constructions and articles from them. In particular, the goals are to establish a system for development, implementation and support of composites, articles and constructions in civil fields of industry; to develop technologies for production of composite materials of new generation; and also to implement measures in order to provide priority rates of production and product consumption of composite industry.
