On 30 August, 2015, the International Aviation and Space Show MAKS-2015 have completed its work. Summarizing the event, the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) was awarded a diploma signed by Denis V. Manturov, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

During the event, more than 300 specialists of leading Russian and foreign companies visited the exposition of VIAM and got acquainted with developments and production of the Institute. Specialists of the Institute told the guests about the main research areas and tests performed by the Institute.
