On August 25, 2015, on the first day of the International Aviation and Space Show MAKS-2015, O. G. Ospennikova, head of scientific-research bureau «Heat-resistant cast and wrought alloys and steels, protective coatings for GTE components» has taken part in a Round Table organized by The International Association of Aero-Engine Manufacturers (Russian acronym: ASSAD). The event was dedicated to the development of cooperation between Russian and European aerospace companies in the field of production of materials, semiproducts and final products on the basis of new technologies.

In her speech, the representative of VIAM noted that the development of the innovative potential (intellectual, personnel, infrastructure and marketing capital) should be based on the results of fundamental and fundamentally-oriented researches conducted with the use of state-private partnerships. "Cooperation between VIAM and Metallurgical Plant “Electrostal” JSC can serve as an example of successful implementation of such cooperation", - she noted.

According to her, a new production complex of high-level processing has been commissioned at Electrostal under the supervision of VIAM to solve the priority tasks in the field of metallurgy set by the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the country. That is a critical event in the development of metallurgical industry of Russia.

"The list of basic equipment included in the comprehensive program of technical re-equipment of the enterprise indicates the possibility to implement the manufacture of products from commercial and advanced materials on a qualitatively new level", said Olga Ospennikova.
