The employees of VIAM have taken part in the championship of the second mini-football aviation league held among the Moscow institutions of aviation industry. The competition, which took place from March to June 2015, was organized by the Moscow city organization of the Russian aviation trade union (MGO Profavia).

The championship was attended by young professionals of the aviation industry. In particular, the teams of National Institute of Aviation Technologies (NIAT), "Znamia" Moscow Engineering Plant OJSC, Moscow Boeing design center, Machine-Building Corporation “MPO-Rumyantsev" JSC, "Mars" Moscow Experimental Design Bureau and Engineering Centre Airbus in Russia ("IC ICAR") struggled for the place on the podium. By the results of the tournament, the team of VIAM has taken the second place and advanced to the major aviation leagues.

According to the unanimous opinion of all participants, the tournament was held at high organizational and sport level. It is remarkable, that all teams were awarded certificates of participation, commemorative medals, keepsakes and symbols.
