On May 11-14, 2015, Maxim Khaskov and Egor Shevtsov, representatives of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) took part in the International Scientific Conference, in which framework the XI All-Russian Competition of Young Scientists "Nanostructured, fiber and composite materials" was held. The event was hosted by the St. Petersburg State University of Technology and Design.
During the plenary session, representatives of VIAM made their reports for participants of the Competition. Egor Shevtsov told about nano-modified polymer composite materials for the construction industry. In turn, Maxim Khaskov reported about an influence of nanofillers on the kinetics of binders curing in the process of composite materials production.
It should be noted that the chair "Nanostructured, fiber and composite materials" of the St. Petersburg State University of Technology and Design was the organizer and promoter of the event.
