On Saturday, January 17, 2015 a documentary film "Corrosion" will be released on the TV channel "Science 2.0" at 12:20 (MSK), in the filming of which experts of G.V. Akimov Gelendzhik climatic testing center (GCTC) attended, and some scenes were filmed in the laboratory and on the GCTC testing ground.
The movie will be released as part of the cycle of popular films "Great Leap Forward", dedicated to the achievements of Russian scientists, engineers and inventors. Earlier VIAM participated in the filming of "Heat Resistant Alloys", "Material of the Future”, “Composite ","Air Safety" movies which aroused great interest of the audience.

The TV channel was launched at April 2, 2011 in several major cable networks in Russia. The channel audience is over 35 million viewers. "Science 2.0" ranks first in coverage among the scientific channels (according to TNS in August-October 2013).
