On October 20, 2014, representative of VIAM, candidate of science (Eng.) Mikhail M. Bakradze has visited Saint-Petersburg, where he congratulated Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander I. Vatagin, managing director of JSC "Klimov", with the centenary of the company in the name of management and team of VIAM.

In particular, in the Congratulatory Letter signed by academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM it was noted that the Works became one of the largest centers for aviation engine building in our country due to efforts of Vladimir Ya. Klimov, an outstanding aviation engine designer, and persistent work of designers, scientists and engineers. «Many-years fruitful cooperation with your team in the field of commercialization of aviation materials and technologies for their application grants us the rights to consider JSC "Klimov" as a reliable partner. Your company was always the first who used the new materials developed by VIAM; that allowed to create unique articles within the earliest possible time», – is written in the Letter. In addition, Evgeny Kablov expressed his certitude in development of bilateral cooperation and wished the team of JSC "Klimov" «good health, new achievements, hope and belief in the future».
