Konstantin K. Khvatskiy and Alexander E. Solovyov, representatives of VIAM, visited F?rstenfeld (Austria), where they carried out acceptance of ten test machines Kappa 50 LA produced by Zwick/Roell (Germany).
Gastrok J?rg, head of the representative office of Zwick/Roell in Russia and CIS countries, Lukas Unger, sales manager of Kappa-type test machines and S.A. Kuteynikov, service engineer of Zwick Trading-M took part in the acceptance of the equipment from the site of producer.
As Konstantin Khvatskiy reported, «these machines are intended for rupture and creep strength tests at temperatures up to 1200°С and loadings up to 50 kN».
Let us note that modernization and re-equipment of the VIAM test base is one of the strategic directions of development of the institute.
