Since 10 till 16 of November 2013 representatives of VIAM Konstantin Khvatsky and Michael Gorbovets held a number of working meetings in Ulm (Germany), Löningen and Neuehausen-am-Reinfall (Switzerland).
On November 11 VIAM specialists visited a plant of Zwick/Roell company in Ulm, where they familiarized themselves with manufactured products, also they considered a number of technical issues during negotiations with a participation of Jorg Gastrock, head of Zwick/Roell company presentation in Russia and CIS and Stefan Pubanz, chief specialist of specific equipment department. Representatives of German company demonstrated to guests new servohydraulic machines, software for cyclic tests modified with due regard for comments of VIAM specialists and a new structure of grasps to carry out test for low-cyclic fatigue at high temperatures for Amsler HA100 testing machine. After acquaintance in detail with work of software, VIAM specialists expressed their wishes on extension of functionality and upgrade of software with the purpose to optimize a way of research tasks decision.
Two days of the business trip, November 13 and 14 Konstantin Khvatsky and Michael Gorbovets devoted to negotiation with «Walter+Bai AG» company (Löningen, Switzerland). At the plant of the company they familiarized themselves with new technical solutions for fatigue testing machines and considered technical issues of software upgrade with «Walter+Bai AG» specialists. VIAM representatives performed a preliminary acceptance of two LFV100 servohydraulic testing machines for high-cycle fatigue testing. From the side of «Walter+Bai AG» the following persons took part in the acceptance procedure: Ralf Walter - Managing director; Patrick Walter - Director for production, deputy Managing director; Roman Mastranjelo - system engineer, Nikkolo Komponova – developmental engineer for software, Tomas Kunts – design engineer and Alexey Zarubin – deputy chief of service department of physical-mechanical tests ( LLC «Melytec» ).
On November 15 VIAM specialists visited the plant of «RUMUL Russenberger Prufmaschinen AG» company (Neuehausen-am-Reinfall, Switzerland) to get acquainted with the manufactured equipment, software , stages of development and production of testing engineering.
Konstantin Khvatsky and Michael Gorbovets got consultations of technical specialists about the testing machine of magnetic-resonance type for high-cycle fatigue, which is intended for VIAM and is in the stage of production.
