On November 5, 2013 the project «Creation and commercialization of innovative resource-saving technology of special metallurgy for production of direct steam pipelines and turbogenerator rotors for nuclear and thermal power engineering, high resistant mill rolls» nominated by JSC Heavy Engineering ORMETO-YUMZ to compete for RF Government award in the field of science and engineering for 2013 was subjected to public discussions at the All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials.

The discussion was carried out on the initiative of the section "Metallurgy" of the Interdepartmental council of awarding of the Russian Federation Government prize in the field of science and engineering. Representatives of the Russian science and production enterprises took part in the discussion.
