The Transfer Technology Center (TTC) of materials of new generation has been established on the basis of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials of the National Research Center “Kurchatov institute”.
The Center was formed with support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The global mission of the Center is to expand technology transfer in high-technology fields of industry and to increase revenue amount from commercialization of the results of intellectual activity of scientific and educational organizations for higher education.
The program of activities of TTC, designed for implementation in the period 2021–2025, includes measures in the field of economics, marketing, law, in the sphere of development of the national technology transfer system, as well as in the field of implementing organizational and technical measures.
The implementation of the current tasks of the TTC is provided by three main structural units of the center: Information and analytical department, Department of intellectual property, Laboratory “Regulatory Documentation”. As at date of the beginning of 2022, TTC maintains 705 Russian patents in force. In 2021, 195 results of intellectual activities were created including 30 inventions and useful models, 158 production secrets (know-how). In 2021, 185 results of intellectual activities were involved in own production, and over 500 results of intellectual activities were used under license agreements.
The Transfer Technology Center of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" – VIAM maintains close connection with all leading organizations of aviation industry. The key partners of TTC are enterprises of rocket and space industry, military-industrial complex, shipbuilding, mechanic engineering and railroad industry.

"Kurchatov Institute" – VIAM within the framework of technology transfer are carried out in accordance with the “Strategic Directions for development of materials and technologies of their processing for the period until 2030.
