From June to August, 149 students from leading Russian universities such as Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, Mirea – Russian Technological University, National University of Science and Technology MISIS, Moscow Aviation Institute, Moscow Polytechnic University have completed an internship at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials of National Research Center “Kurchatov Institute”.

The largest group was trainees (29 students) from Moscow Aviation Institute, studying “Materials science and technology of materials”. Laboratories of the Testing Center were the main divisions of NRC “Kurchatov Institute” for internship.

Students of Ulyanovsk State Technical University completed their work experience internship at Ulyanovsk Scientific- Technological Center – the branch of NRC “Kurchatov Institute” – VIAM. They were acquainted with the research and production base of the Center and output products. Under the supervision of experienced mentors the students worked on modern scientific-research equipment.

Students from Kuban State University completed internship in another branch of the institute – A.G. Akimov Gelendzhik Climatic Testing Center. They studied methods for determining aggressively corrosive particles in atmosphere, learned high-precision equipment as well as modern measuring techniques.

It should be noted that from 2012 to 2022, more than 1600 students from technical universities have completed all types of internship at the NRC “Kurchatov Institute” – VIAM. The work with students is carries out within the framework of the built system of continuous training of highly qualified scientific, engineering-technical and pedagogical personnel at the institute.
