According to the results of 2020 the income of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) is 8.2 bln rubles and the net profit is 894 mln rubles.

Such significant figures are the results of the increase of the amount of research and development and experimental design works fulfilled by VIAM as well as due to the amount of products manufactured by high-tech low-tonnage production facilities. As a result the fiscal charges and insurance payments made by the Institute to the State non-budgetary funds for the last year tot up more than 1,6 bln rubles. According to Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation №1224 of 12.10.2018 VIAM will donate 50% of its net profit to the federal budget revenue.

In total the Institute will find the federal budget with more than 2 bln rubles.

The Institute will invest the gained profit into upgrading of the manufacturing and research and development bases in compliance with the VIAM action program affirmed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for 2021. Performance of this program will allow the Institute to solve a range of critical tasks such as supply of the homeland industry with necessary materials, import phase-out of the foreign components and half-products and development of the promising scientific and technical tendencies.
