On December 11, within the framework of the annual national exhibition VUZPROMEXPO, the final of the 5th National Contest of Innovation Projects of the Aerospace Industry was held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds.

Valentina Denisova, Sector Head of the Laboratory of Ceramic Composite Materials, Antioxidizing Coatings and Heat-Resistant Enamels of FSUE “VIAM”, took the third place with the project “Development of a VES-104M heat-resistant glass-ceramic coating and an energy-efficient technology for its repair to protect GTE parts made of heat-resistant nickel alloys from high-temperature gas corrosion”. The work was carried out by a team of employees of FSUE "VIAM" and JSC "UEC-Klimov".

The contest is annually held by FSUE “TsAGI” among the projects of authors' teams of universities, scientific organizations and industry enterprises, which are based on promising results of research and development (products / technologies) that have the potential for commercialization in the aerospace industry.

During the competition, teams from more than 50 enterprises, universities and research organizations from 21 constituent entities of the Russian Federation took part in it.
