On June 28, 2013, a solemn meeting devoted to the 81st anniversary of the date of VIAM foundation was held at All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials.

The meeting was opened by academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM. He congratulated the staff of the institute on the memory date and wished successes in scientific and production activity.
