On October 14th in a solemn ceremony the students who had entered the postgraduate and Master’s programs of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) were presented with their students and postgrads cards.

Evgeny N. Kablov the VIAM Director General and the Academician of RAS congratulated the students and postgrads with a new stage of their life path and wished them good luck and success in their studies.

This year VIAM granted admission to 8 and 14 students for Master’s degree and postgraduate programs correspondingly.    

Postgraduate program in VIAM is the third stage of higher education granting the real opportunity of conducting scientific researches using the unique equipment. The training is conducted in the following directions: 22.06.01 “Materials Engineering” (Extractive metallurgy and thermal treatment of metals and alloys; Materials science (machine engineering)) and 18.06.01 “Chemical Engineering” (Technology and processing of polymer and composite materials).    

The training on the Master’s degree program is conducted in “Materials science and materials engineering” direction (Materials and technologies for aerospace equipment).

After graduating from the postgrad and Master’s programs the Ordinary National Diplomas are given.
