In April 2020 in the Voskresensky experimental-technological center on special materials  (VETC VIAM) there was brought into operation the new low-tonnage manufacturing facility of cold-rolled sheets, bands and  strips from heat-resistant and special steels and alloys. 

The new reversing duo-quatro rolling mill “300” will ensure the production of the sheets, bands and narrow strips of thickness up to 0.05 mm and width up to 300 mm from the new generation heat-resistant nickel and   beryllium-containing alloys as well as from precision, structural and special steels developed by VIAM and the VPr series brazing alloys.

The newly organized production facility will manufacture low-tonnage batches of half-products for the military-industrial complex enterprises (aviation, missile, machine-building and instrument-making branches of industry).

Minimal supplied quantity is 5 kg.

It is necessary to add that the rolling mill was designed according to the VIAM technical requirements  by the VNIIMETMASH specialists.
