On September 30th, 2019 at the embassy of the People’s Republic of China the reception dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of establishment of the PRC and the diplomatic relations between our countries took place.

Evgeny Kablov, the VIAM Director General, the Academician of RAS and Olga Ospennikova, the first Deputy Director General attended the event. Many politicians, foreign diplomats, officials, public figures, heads of companies and institutions as well as business leaders of Russia, China and various international organizations were in attendance.

The USSR was the first to recognize the PRC. On October 2^nd, 1949 the very next day after the establishment of the People’s Republic of China Andrei Gromyko who was the first Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the USSR sent a telegram to Zhou Enlai, the Premier of the State Council of the PRC with the recognition of the People’s Republic of China by the Soviet Union and the motion of establishment of diplomatic relations. This day is considered the day of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

I am sure that our cooperation will always promote growth of the scientific and technical potential in the development of the aircraft engineering of the new generation for the benefit of Russia and China.” - Evgeny Kablov said.
