On October 1, 2018, representatives of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials visited Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), located in Hyderabad (India).
In the course of the visit, specialists of VIAM have discussed with the Indian colleagues the areas of cooperation, stipulated in the memorandum of understanding. The memorandum of understanding was signed by VIAM and MIDHANI in the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2017. It included recycling of nickel-based alloys, disks forging from heat-resistant wrought alloys, castings of blades with directional single-crystal structure, production of nickel and titanium powders, as well as protective high temperature coating for thermo-mechanical treatment.
Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) is a Government of India enterprise. It specializes in producing more than 100 grades of special metals and alloys, including titanium and titanium-magnesium alloys, special steels, nickel alloys, titanium billets and titanium rolled products, magnets, engines and rotors. The products of the enterprise are widely used in energy, aviation, space, chemical and other high-technology industries of India.
