On November 6, 2018, a delegation of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials headed by Deputy Director General of VIAM Vladislav V. Antipov visited the International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition «Airshow China 2018», held in Zhuhai, China.

In the course of the visit, the representatives of VIAM got acquainted with the developments of companies dealing with additive technologies and equipment, pressure processing technologies of light alloys, polymer composite materials and rubber technical products. 

In addition, negotiations were held with Tsingdao Advanced Power Technology и Chengdu Aerospace Superalloy Technology Company, which were interested in equipment, developments and production of VIAM.

The delegation of VIAM visited a pavilion of COMAC, where a prototype of the Russian-Chinese wide-body long range aircraft CR929 was presented.

The International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition «Airshow China 2018» takes place in the territory of airport of Zhuhai, the special economic zone in the South of PRC (province Guandong) from November 06 – 11, 2018.  The visitors can see civil and military aircrafts, aerodrome engineering, space engineering, ground equipment, rocket and aviation engines, missiles and aircraft armaments, navigation systems and flight-safety monitoring, airport equipment, training systems, air defense systems. The program of the airshow includes aerospace products, demonstration flights, holdings of forums and workshops.
