On the eve of the Day of Knowledge, the metropolitan authorities held the Charitable action common to the entire city “Family helps family: We are preparing for school!”.

Employees of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) traditionally took part in the action, intended to support Moscow families experiencing serious difficulties in preparing children for the new academic year.

During the period of the charitable action, about 206 points to assemble clothes, shoes,  stationery materials and educational supplies for schoolchildren from large and needy families.

The action has taken place for the thirteenth time. Last year over 6,000 citizens and 473 organizations took part in the charity event.  Before the beginning of the previous academic year almost 10 thousand Moscow families were obtained targeted social support.
