On August 8-10, 2018, the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) participated in the 9^th International specialized exhibition “Aerospace technologies, modern materials and equipment” (Kazan).

Participants and guests of the exhibition had an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest achievements of VIAM in the field of additive technologies and polymer composite materials. In particular, parts of engine PD-14 produced by the method of selective laser melting (swirler, gas collector, nozzle blade) as well as metal powder compositions of alloys based on nickel, iron, cobalt, aluminum and titanium were presented. The visitors were presented prepregs and carbon fabrics as reinforcing agent for PCM, designed to production of engine nacelle and elements of frame construction in products of aviating engineering.

The exhibition of AKTO has been held since 2002 under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and under the support of the Government of RT. The aim of the exhibition is the development of scientific, technical and technological capability of enterprises and organizations, involved in development and manufacture of aviation and rocket-space engineering, in expansion of cooperation between enterprises and scientific organizations.
