On June 28, 2017, a diploma delivery ceremony to winners of the annual contest “100 best inventions of Russia” was held at the meeting of scientific and technical councils of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) and the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS).

The development of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) was included into one of the best inventors.

The invention “The method for producing parts by layer-by-layer laser melting of metallic powder alloys based on nickel” developed by Kablov E.N., Nerush S.V., Evgenov A.G., Rogalev A.M., Vasilenko, Khodyrev N.A., Sukhov D.I. was awarded with a diploma.

The invention relates to the technologies of layer by layer synthesis as follows manufacturing details by the method of layer-by-layer laser melting of metallic powders of chromic heat-resistant alloys on nickel based. It can be used to produce parts of gas turbine engines (GTE) and gas turbine units (GTU) applied in missile and aviation industries.

Rospatent jointly with FIPS annually conduct work on selection of perspective inventions of Russia.  While selecting it is necessary to take into account their conformity to priority directions of development of science, technologies and engineering, the list of critical technologies of the Russian Federation and state programs. The best hundred inventions of the year are selected on the basis of this list.
