On June 1, 2017, Mikhail V. Bulanov, deputy leader of Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) visited the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

In the course of the visit, he got acquainted with the main activities of VIAM, experimental research and production complexes, laboratories, high-technology low-tonnage manufactures as well as achievements of the institute in the field of materials science.  

The specialists of VIAM told the guest about advanced developments of the institute in the field of production of materials and manufacturing technologies of new generation for aviation industry.

He was also informed about the ongoing re-equipment of the institute, which was the guarantee of producing word-market competitive products.

In turn, Mikhail Bulanov highly appreciated technical equipment of VIAM and its strong workforce capacity. According to him, modern technical base of the institute is effectively used to provide domestic aviation industry with necessary modern materials.
