On 22-25 March, 2015 representatives of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) Sergey Golyinets and Alexander Solovyev have carried out an acceptance of 6 test machines “Kappa 50 LA” of the Zwick/Roell production (Germany). The works were performed at the manufacturer factory in the Austrian Fuerstenfeld.
According to Sergey Golyinets “These machines are aimed at carrying out tests for long-term strength and creeping at temperatures up to 1200 and loads up to 50 kN.
From the manufacturer side the head of Zwick/Roell representative in Russia and CIS Jorg Gastrok, the General Director of Messphysik Material Testing GmbH Peter Rukhti, the sales manager of Kappa test machines Lucas Unger, the manager of service department Oliver Milkovits and the representative of LLC “ZWICK trading-M” Bashkova I.M. have taken part in the acceptance of equipment.
It should be noted, that modernization and re-equipment of VIAM test base is one of the strategic direction for the development of the institute.
