On October 22, 2014, Candidate of Sciences (Eng.) Elena B. Chabina, deputy chief of the Testing Center of VIAM has taken part in meeting of the Russian scientists with representatives of Dutch National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR). The event took place at Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev.
As Elena Chabina informed, «within the meeting, possible directions of cooperation of the leading domestic enterprises and research centers with NLR in the field of creation, research and tests of different vehicles and systems have been considered». The Russian specialists and guests from Holland have paid their special attention to problems of virtual design of transport systems and to the technology for prototyping of structural components of aviation articles, including those made from composite materials.
Scientists working in the field of aero- and hydrodynamics, strength and resistance of materials and experts from industrial centers and scientific-research institutes, which are engaged in research and creation of aerospace vehicles, were invited to participate in the meeting.
Let us note, that within the event, Elena Chabina visited the Automotive Center of European Education Technologies of Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. Alekseev, a partner of VIAM in some cooperation areas.
