On February 25, 2013 an enlarged meeting of the Bureau of the Department of chemistry and material sciences of RAS (OHNM of RAS) was held at All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials (VIAM).

Academician Sergey M. Aldoshin, vice-president of RAS acting as an academician-secretary of the Department opened the meeting.

After his welcoming speech, academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, General Director of All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials (VIAM), vice-chairman of the Interdepartmental working group told about concept, structure and the main directions of the Program on strategic materials till 2025, and also about participation of institutes of OHNM of RAS in its development.

As a member of the board of trustees of the Perspective Researches Fund he informed the attendees about the main objectives and tasks of the Fund which had been created according to the Federal law of October 17, 2012.
