On August 27^th, 2021 the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) held a meeting under project “Sinklit at VIAM”. Anatoly Wasserman – a famous erudite, participant and winner of various intellectual games on TV, journalist, political pundit and just a person who needs no introduction.

Anatoly Wasserman’s activity attracts attention of millions as well as lots of people defer to his opinion. Love of knowledge is in his blood taking into account that Anatoly Aleksandrovich’s father was a successful scientist in thermophysics who devoted many years to his work in the Odessa National Maritime University. 

“All my skills in cogitation are the results of several decades of hard mind work. I personally know dozens of people who in my opinion are smarter than me. And I am very glad as it means that I still have room to grow and improve myself”, - Anatoly Wasserman noted. 

During the meeting VIAM employees addressed a lot of questions to the guest which referred to the educational reform, development of Russian science, his work in television, participation in intellectual games, etc. He also bounced his ideas on global foreign policy situation. 

It is necessary to note that before the beginning of the “Sinklit” Anatoly Wasserman had a look at the research and production facilities of the institute. He was told about the VIAM’s history, its main activities and latest inventions in development of materials and new generation technologies.
