On April 5, 2017, a meeting of the Presidium of the Scientific and Technical Council was held at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

During the meeting, the attendees have considered the results of implementation of works under the contract with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, which is performed within the framework of the subprogram “Aviation science and technologies” of the State program of RF “Development of aviation industry for 2013-2025”.

Sergey V. Yemelyanov, Director of Department for aviation industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of RF took part in the event.

It should be noted, that the main goal of the program is to create highly competitive aviation industry and to consolidate its position in the world market as the third manufacturer by the volume of production of aviation equipment.
