On March 1, 2017, a solemn awarding ceremony of the Moscow Government to young scientists took place.

Ivan Mazalov, Maksim Akhmedzyanov and Alexander Skugorev, employees of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials became the winners in the nomination “Aviation and space engineering”.

The authors of VIAM were recognized for the development of manufacturing technology of welded nodes from new heat-resistant wrought nickel alloys for advanced helicopter engine VK-2500M.

It should be noted, that 33 projects and 65 authors have been honored with the award this year. The winners represent 27 capital institutes of higher education, scientific-research organizations and enterprises. The award of the Moscow Government has been presented since 2013. About 2 thousand of young specialists have participated in the competition for four years.
