A signing ceremony for the agreement on cooperation and partnership between the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials and the Association of Manufacturers of Railway Engineering (OPZT in Russian) took place on February 17, 2017.

Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM and Valentin A. Gapanovich, President of NP “OPZT” signed the document.

Within the framework of the agreement, the parties will interact in the field of scientific and technological activities, additive technologies, information, research and staffing support

For the purposes of the agreement implementation, VIAM and OPZT undertake to determine officials, responsible for coordinating the cooperation, activating the exchange of scientific and technical and such other information, promoting the development of direct ties and business contacts, including the participation of joint conferences, workshops, round tables and exhibitions.

It should be noted, that on January 27, 2017, a delegation, headed by Valentin Gapanovich, visited VIAM and got acquainted with the main directions of activity and achievements of the institute in the field of production of materials and technologies of new generation.
