Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) became a member of the Aviation Board under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Members of the Aviation Board were approved by Decree of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitry A. Medvedev.

The purpose of the Aviation Board is to improve coordination of actions of the Federal executive bodies, executive government bodies of the subjects of the Federation, organizations of aviation industry and airspace in the field of development, production, exploitation and promotion at the market of national civil aviation engineering.

The composition of the Aviation Board consisting of 45 people was approved through the signed decree. Representatives of the Federal executive bodies, organizations of aviation industry and science, aviation and leasing companies were included into the Board.

Dmitry O. Rogozin is Chairman of the Board – deputy Prime Minister of RF.
