On December 26, 2016, Director General of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials, Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov met with the Council of Veterans of VIAM.

In the course of the meeting, Evgeny Kablov reviewed the results of the expiring year and also informed the attendees about the main areas for developments of the institute and its near-term prospects. In particular, Leader of VIAM told about some financial and economic indicators, upgrading of social infrastructure and scientific and production base.

Besides, issues relating to publication activity of VIAM`s employees were raised at the meeting. The members of the Council pointed out that there were a lot of talented young people with prospects for professional growth at the institute.

Leader of VAIM expressed his gratitude to the attendees for their long-term work for the benefit of the institute.  “You are the striking example for our young people, you pass on experience, knowledge and love for profession”, - he pointed out. Evgeny Kablov also presented to the members of the Council of Veterans New Year`s gifts and wished them health, success and luck in the coming year.
