On October 19, 2016, Mikhail M. Bakradze, Head of the laboratory of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) took part in an industrial meeting of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

Sergey V. Yemelyanov, Director of Department for aviation industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation held the meeting. In the course of the event, the representative of VIAM made a report, devoted to materials of new generation and advanced manufacturing technologies for aviation gas turbine engine-building.

It should be noted, that the meeting took place within the framework of the congress and exhibition meeting “The 100^th anniversary of Russian engine-building”. The first in the country enterprises of this industry were opened namely in the Yaroslavskaya Oblast a century ago.

Besides, Mikhail Bakradze with the delegation of Minpromtorg visited a new shop for production of modern reciprocating engines of JSC “Avtodizel”.

It should be noted, that Mikhail Bakradze congratulated the Leader of PJSC “NPO’ Saturn” on the 100^th anniversary of the enterprise on October 20, 2016.
