The All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) and Ashinskiy Metallurgical Plant have signed an agreement on scientific-technical cooperation.

The parties have come to an agreement to develop and implement manufacturing technologies of rolled metal products from high-resistant high alloys and steels of new generation, developed at VIAM with the capacity of PJSC “AMET”. Besides, the agreement stipulates to master technologies of low-tonnage manufacturing of rolled metal products from serial heat-resistant and precision steels and alloys of VIAM and development of technologies in order to produce spherical metal powders for additive manufacturing.

Organization of joint scientific-research works, holding of seminars, round tables and other events are provided within the framework of the cooperation.
