On August 22, 2016, a delegation of NPO “Nauka”, headed by Director General Evgeny V. Merkulov, visited the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).  

Within the framework of the visit the guests got acquainted with production capabilities of VIAM as well as they discussed issues of cooperation.

In particular, the representatives of NPO “Nauka” viewed scientific-research and production facilities, laboratories, high-technology low-tonnage manufacturing, producing 234 items of production.

The specialists of VIAM told about the latest achievements of the institute in the field of development of materials and technologies of new generation.

At the end of the visit Evgeny Merkulov highly appreciated the scientific achievements of VIAM and modern equipment of the institute.

It should be noted, that OJSC Scientific-production association “Nauka” was established in 1931. The enterprise is the leader in the field of development of air-conditioning systems and units, life-support systems and pressure automatic control systems for aerospace engineering in Russia as well as for international programs.
